No Tricks, Just Treats: 5 Free Halloween Printables to Decorate Your Home

Ghosts, goblins, and pumpkins, oh my! In this blog post, I’m sharing some of my favorite free Halloween printables. Whether you’re looking to give your home a haunted house makeover or you just want to sprinkle some eeriely fun charm around to delight your children, these printables are an easy and affordable way to get into the spirit of the Halloween season.

I love printable Halloween decorations because they’re an affordable way to refresh our seasonal décor without breaking the bank. With the cost of candy, pumpkins, and costumes already adding up, printables offer a budget-friendly alternative. Plus, once Halloween is over, you can simply store them in a folder for next year—making it a win-win!

Happy Halloween Printable Banner

I love the simplicity of this Halloween banner from Ella Claire Inspired. To recreate the look, all you need is a hole punch and some twine. I just printed it at home—nothing fancy—and the black background gives it a chalkboard-like effect. It turned out perfect for our fireplace mantel!

Book Page Ghost Garland

Thistle Key Lane has a charming free book page ghost garland that we used to decorate our large chalkboard, and I love the contrast it adds! We opted for the pre-made ghost cutouts rather than cutting up book pages, but you could also print vintage music sheets and pair them with the ghost template for a unique touch. My kids had fun getting creative too, gluing skewer sticks to the back of some ghosts and placing them in plant holders around the house for a playful, spooky effect!

Skeleton Halloween Print

One of my kids is fascinated by the human body and dreams of becoming a doctor someday, so she absolutely loved this anatomical skeleton print. I printed it at 8.5″ x 11″, trimmed the white border, and placed it on the glass of a picture frame on our mantel. It looks fantastic! You can grab the free skeleton printable from My Someday in May.

Halloween Apothecary Labels

These Halloween apothecary labels from Party Planning Center are a fun way to repurpose glass jars and bottles you’ve saved throughout the year. They’ll add a spooky touch to any space and are sure to be a hit with any Harry Potter fans! I’m planning to use them as a cute display on the shelf in our dining room or scattered around our schoolroom for a fun Halloween vibe.

Halloween Candle Wrappers

My kids had some much fun with these free Halloween candle wrappers from Mr. Printables. Just download, cut, and wrap the paper around an LED candle (we love these) and tape the edges together. You can choose from ghosts, bats, or spiders—or mix them up for a spooky touch throughout your home!
